Gospel Reflections #777: Without love, no amount of good deeds means anything at all.

Ephesians 5:1,2 "Since you are God's beloved children, imitate God. Just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God, walk in love."

Through Jesus' cross, we are freed from sin. Through His resurrection, we are given new life. As God's children and heirs, we are nurtured, educated, and allowed to grow and mature.

All we need to do is look up to God and agree to be transformed into His likeness by His power.

Even if we feel we can do nothing, only God fills us with His love so that we can share that love with those around us.

Without love, no amount of good deeds means anything at all.

God is love.

Let us begin each day praying to God, that we may touch that love once again today.
