Hebrews 2:9 “Just see Jesus, who was "made lower than the angels for a little while" or, because of the suffering of death, "crowned with glory and honour". By God's grace, He died for all.

Ever since sin entered the world, God has been faithful in his plan of salvation for mankind.

However, it is also true that there has always been a threat of resistance.

In these dangerous times, only forms of faith are in vogue in the world, and many people readily profess the Christian faith, but surely there are few who discern and choose the path to Christ of self-denial and cross-bearing.

In these dangerous times, outward forms of faith are fashionable, and many people readily profess Christianity. Yet few truly discern and choose the path of Christ—a path of self-denial and cross-bearing

Christ knows the dangers we encounter.

Christ also knows that our enemies are pursuing everyone who tries to do what is right.

On the other hand, Satan, with all his trickery, is trying to deceive the servants of God, to draw them away from Christ and into the wide path that leads to destruction.

Satan watches our comings and goings, and though invisible, he works diligently and industriously to lead us to perdition.

It is impossible for us to defeat or escape Satan in our own strength.

But Christ has victory over Satan.

And because Christ has risen, we too have been freed from sin and given new life through Him.

All this is in God's plan of salvation for mankind, which has been fulfilled through Christ.

We have done nothing.

Not only have we done nothing, but we were sinners stuck in the mire of sin, and Christ gave his life as a human being like us.

This is God's love, grace, mercy and blessing.

We just have to receive it, taste it and respond to it.

Only those who have truly tasted the redemption of Christ will respond with joy and gratitude.
