Psalm 103:8 "The Lord is merciful, rich in grace, patient, great in mercy."

How do you know what God is like for you?

Our God is not a God of record in the past who was present at the times described in the Bible, but a God who is involved in the lives and livelihood of each of us at this very moment.

Think carefully about how God has been merciful in your life, what grace He has given you, how patient He has been with you in your life, and what His mercy toward you is like in concrete terms.

If we do not understand this love of God, all our seeming successes in service and evangelism will be in vain without love.

We are the ones who have a hard time focusing on what we cannot see.

It is not something we can do naturally, not something we can do consciously with effort, but something we can do only when we surrender everything to God.

Let us not look for wonderful things or wonderful people here on earth, but let us look up to God through the windows of heaven that Jesus has opened for us, and let us keep our focus on God who is performing miracles for each of us in our ordinary days, and let us stay in touch with God's character. Let us keep touching God's character.
