Gospel Reflections #750: Jesus continually fulfilling the will of God

John 6:38 "I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me."

In His public life ministry, Jesus clearly shows that He is the Bread of Life.

Jesus' obedience and humility abound in these words.

Jesus said that He is the bread of life from heaven, but He emphasized that it is His Father who gives Him the bread of life.

Instead of focusing on Himself, Jesus focuses on God the Father in heaven, and through Him shows us who God the Father in heaven is.

When we describe God, we should always focus on Jesus, not on how much we have changed or what wonderful things we have done, but on what Jesus has done for me, even though I am so weak and useless.

Jesus showed us the will of God the Father in heaven.

He showed us the will of God the Father in Heaven, which is to raise us up on the Last Day without losing any of us whom God the Father in Heaven has given to Jesus.

And the will of God the Father in heaven is that everyone who sees Jesus and believes in Him will have eternal life.

Jesus is still working hard to fulfill the will of our Heavenly Father, no matter who we are.

Let us be willing to know Jesus more, commune with Him more, and be loved by Him more so that we too can respond to His will.

Jesus is waiting for our requests with eager longing and open arms!
