Philippians 2:7 "Instead, He made Himself nothing, taking the place of a servant and becoming like a human being."

Christ became a man like us, but not of the same nature.

He was in an environment where He was tempted to sin, but He did not sin.

He was the only sinless person on earth.

We are so steeped in the sensitization of sin that we take it for granted.

We cannot and do not want to become nothing or become a servant.

In order to free us from sin and redeem us, Christ hung on the cross for us.

Knowing that Jesus, the heavenly commander, willingly became a man, sacrificed his life for fallen humanity, and set an example of both character and conduct, what are we willing to offer for him today?

All we can do is thank Jesus, rejoice in Him, and show Him all that is in our hearts, good and bad.

All we can do is choose to stay involved, to be close, and to be one with Jesus.
