2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is written under the guidance of the Spirit of God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction of error, and for training in righteousness."
The Bible is God's plan for mankind's salvation and how it will be fulfilled.
The Bible does not show us how to become pure.
It shows us from all angles who God is and what He is worth to us, and who we are.
We receive from the Bible that we cannot accomplish anything on our own.
We find the path that leads us to righteousness.
By righteousness, we mean Jesus, without whom there is no purity and no hope.
The Bible leads us to Jesus and shows us the joy and peace of being with Him.
God has a plan not only for our salvation from sin, but also for all the ways we can accept, believe in, and follow Jesus.
All we can do is know and accept Jesus.
The rest is up to Jesus to work in us.
