Isaiah 49:16 "Behold, I will inscribe you on the palms of my hands. Thy walls are before me."

Satan accuses God's people of sinning so that they are no longer under God's protection and should be excluded from His grace.

We are such that, through the influence of sin, we value our own interests more than serving God, and we are unable to abandon the things of the world.

In these situations, we think that "the Lord has abandoned us and forgotten us.

But our God has us in the palm of His hand and will not forget us.

He says, "How can a woman forget her suckling child and not have compassion on the child in her belly? God clearly says, "If they should forget, I will not forget you, I who gave you to them.

Even if we forget Him, He will never forget or forsake us.

When we know who our God is, not just what we see, we can remember that He is the only one we can turn to.
