Mark 15:37 "With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last."
Jesus' death on the cross was not caused by being poked with a pliers, nor did he die on the cross.
The fact that Jesus cried out in a loud voice at the moment of His death and that blood and water flowed from His side told us that He died of a ruptured heart.
Jesus' heart ruptured because of the mental anguish, and He experienced a second death for all our sins.
In the world, the wages of sin are death.
Jesus accepted the wages of the world's sins for us.
Jesus proved that "the wages of sin is Jesus Christ."
By taking His last breath, we have been freed from Satan's chains.
Jesus broke Satan's chains with His life so that we can live a life free from Satan.
If we receive this, we will choose to live joyfully proclaiming Jesus' victory for us rather than protecting ourselves from Satan.
We receive life by looking up to Jesus.
