Matthew 5:16 "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your heavenly Father."
We are told in the Bible to be the light of the world.
"Light of the world" does not mean wealth, achievement, or fame, but that we live in gratitude, joy, and hope in God, no matter what our circumstances.
And what are our "noble deeds"?
It is more than going to church, doing Bible studies, giving offerings, serving, or evangelizing, it is accepting reality as coming from God, no matter what our circumstances are, and choosing to rely entirely on God and not on our own strength, so that we can forgive, accept, and show love to others, in other words, show God's love I believe that is an honorable thing to do as a Christian to depend on God's power so that we can express our character.
And if we are connected to God, our actions will be guided by God.
God nurtures, guides, and uses us so that we may know who He is through us.
All we have to do is be willing to accept each of God's gifts, and God will do the rest to prepare us.
