Luke 9:56 "For the Son of Man came not to take human life but to save it."
I feel that the values of this world are to make clear right and wrong, superior and inferior by evaluation and analysis, but God's values are that He wants to save all people and that He will spare no effort and will not give up in order to do so.
We tend to evaluate our own actions, get depressed, and give up.
Jesus does not do this, but covers us from the old ways.
Salvation is not God changing our behavior, but putting God's values and thought processes into our hearts that are filled with the values and thought processes of the world.
They may not immediately manifest themselves in our actions, but by slowly and deliberately immersing our hearts in God's love, God changes the way we receive things, the way we think, the way we express ourselves, the words we speak, and the actions we take.
The more we understand who God is to us, the more we will never lose faith in His promises no matter what the situation is before us.
If we lose faith in Him, He will still love us, heal us, cover us, and guide us. He loves us, heals us, covers us, leads us, and reminds us that this is God's work.
This is because God is love.
