Gospel Reflections #701: Rest in the Depths of God's love

Isaiah 55:9 "As the heavens are high above the earth, so are my ways above your ways, and my thoughts above your thoughts."

We know that the God we believe in is the God of creation and the Almighty God, but we mostly see Him with us at the centre.

We sometimes complain to God because we are not satisfied that He is not doing what we want Him to do.

We pray to God to fulfill our requests, not knowing where we stand in life or what our needs are.

God understands us.

And despite our condition, He forgives, heals, and loves us.

We don't know God's plan, but we know that He loves us and will never abandon us.

Even when events happen that block us on all sides, we want to remember that the windows of heaven are always open and we are connected to God.

Through this, we are given glimpses into the depths of God's plan and allowed to rest.
