Luke 4:15 "Jesus taught in the synagogues and was respected by all."
After being baptised and being tried by Satan for 40 days, Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit and returned to Galilee.
Rumours of Jesus had spread and he was respected, but there were those who only paid attention to his miracles and realised that he was not welcome in their home town.
What about us?
We need to search our hearts deeply to see whether we want Jesus' blessings and miracles or peace in our relationship with Him.
Jesus, who came to earth to show us how to live by example, who gave his life for us on the cross, who is still working and interceding for us after his resurrection, speaks to us about every single thing that is going to happen to us and encourages us not to be afraid, He encourages us not to be afraid.
Without this relationship with Jesus, we will only look for visible blessings and miracles, and we will create a God that suits us.
We want to think about what kind of relationship we want to have with Jesus, who he is, what he has done for each of us and what he is going to do for us in our time alone with him.
Jesus dreams of being one with us and looks forward to a relationship with us.
