Matthew 8:27  "What kind of person is this? Does not even the wind and the lake obey him?"

We say we believe in God, but we tend to deal with the events in front of us on our own.

Even though we believe that God will make it good for us, we sometimes fail to wait for God's time and try to adjust the balance of God's promises on our own.

God is also in control of the natural world, and He knows and can rule over all of us.

To 'rule' us does not mean that God rules over us as He pleases, but that He respects our free will to the extent that He protects us and works to prepare a way for us to connect to Him in every situation. This means that God is on our side.

Such a God is our ally and the source of our strength.

We can rely, lean on and depend on Him with confidence and greater boldness.

God is willing and waiting for us to do so.
