John 1:46 Then Nathanael said, "Will anything good come out of Nazareth?" and Philip said, "Come and see."
Nathanael thought it was impossible for a Saviour to come out of a small village like Nazareth.
We have such preconceived notions of the world and our own assumptions about it that we tend to judge right and wrong by them.
Philip did not deny or criticise this, but urged Nathanael to see with his own eyes and decide for himself what kind of person Jesus is by his own involvement.
We have a tendency to make an illusion of how much we have learned with our own eyes and not through experience, but a relationship with Jesus is also only possible through personal encounters, personal involvement, and personal conversations.
Nathanael's assumptions changed 180 degrees when he met and engaged with Jesus.
This is the miracle of Jesus.
We are given freedom of choice.
If we have questions or concerns about God, we can take them directly to Him and be changed by facing them.
Jesus is our Founder, Healer, Guide and Final Finisher.
