1 Corinthians 8:6 "For to us there is one God, the Father, from whom all things proceed, and to whom we are returning. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom all things exist, and by whom we also exist."
God made this world, made us, and has provided everything we need to live and keep us alive.
But there are forces at work in this world, not only God's and ours, but also Satan's.
God continues to work to help us, to transform us, and to make us live, so that we will not be defeated by Satan's power, or even if we are defeated.
There are hardships in our world, but God is our Maker, Redeemer, Helper, and Finisher, so much so that even these hardships need His permission.
Without God's protection, Jesus' sacrifice, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are no better than those who appear to be alive but are dead.
Instead of worrying and looking only at the tribulations of this world, let us look at the fact that we are protected and guided by God, and let us share in thanksgiving and joy.
Our God is a God who is with us in the tribulations of this world and who never gives up on us.
We have nothing but joy and thanksgiving.
