Habakkuk 3:3 "His majesty covers the heavens and his majesty fills the earth."

Habakkuk provides a solution to the question of why God allows sinners to flourish and saints to suffer.

God informed Habakkuk that He had a plan to prevent and punish Judah's wickedness, and that this plan would be carried out by the Chaldeans.

Why would God use a nation worse than Judah to punish Judah? Another question arises in Habakkuk's mind: how can such a plan be in harmony with God's justice?

Habakkuk impatiently, yet with a sincere and earnest heart, seeks an answer from God.

In immediate response to Habakkuk's impatient request, God gives Habakkuk assurance of His purpose concerning Judah and then points out Habakkuk's need for humility and faith.

God's love and power are sufficient in heaven and on earth.

If we know who God is and what He is doing for us, even if we cannot understand or see it, we can believe and yield to Him, even if we do not fully understand His ways and intentions.
Faith is trusting in God Himself and in His promises.

It is the work of the God we believe in that makes it happen.
