Psalm 91:2 "My refuge and my fortress, my God, the One on whom I depend"
This verse is experienced by all who accept and believe in God.
God is our protector.
He knows the trials of us sinners. He knows the trials and temptations of us sinners.
Jesus took the nature of us sinners and was tempted in all the same ways as we are, and He knows how to help those who are tempted.
Jesus shed tears, knew our sorrows and experienced our grief.
This is not to condemn or rebuke us, knowing our weakness and sinfulness, but Jesus is saddened that we have become so much because of our sin, and He has compassion on us.
That is why Jesus is a sure wind shelter, the only storm shelter, for everyone who believes and trusts in Him.
There are tribulations in this world.
But Jesus is the one who has already triumphed over this world!
