1 Corinthians 1:13
"Has Christ been divided into many?"
These are Paul's words to the Corinthian church.
There were disputes within the church in Corinth, arguing and fighting over whether to follow Paul or Peter.
There were factional disputes even though they had all believed in Christ and entered the path of faith.
This is the result of our human beings focusing only on man without looking at God, and focusing on our own righteousness and superiority.
Paul did not condemn the Corinthian church, nor did he offer a solution to their internal conflict, but he focused on sharing Christ.
When our faith seems to waver, we too need to slow down and reflect on what God has done for us as individuals and who Christ is for us as individuals.
It is not even our own faith, no matter how good a Christian we are, that heals us and gives us peace, but Christ on the cross alone.
