Gospel Reflections #667: We have a flock to care

1 Peter 5:2 "Shepherd the flock of God's sheep, which is entrusted to you. Take care of them willingly, not under compulsion, but according to God. Do it not for lowly gain, but with devotion."

God does not stop at redeeming us, saving us, and filling us with His love.

Through us, God wants us to express His love to those who have not yet experienced it.

He also wants us to be filled with His love and to share it by being partakers of the joy of salvation.

We have a flock of sheep given to us by God.

We are to pour out God's love to them.

First, let us pray to be filled with God's love.

Then let us be shown who and where we are to serve.

Let us follow God's will and not our own.

God's plan for us is always best and inevitable.

And we will walk the path of faith with joy, enjoyment, mutual support and encouragement in God.

The gifts that God has prepared for us are extraordinary blessings, far beyond our expectations.
