Psalm 111:9  "The Lord has sent redemption to His people; He has established His covenant for ever. His name is holy, to be feared and honored."

God has freed us from Satan's chains by accepting us as "His people" and bearing our sins in our place, even though we are greatly affected by sin.

Not only that, God made a covenant with us. He also made sure the covenant with us will be fulfilled, a covenant that if we accept Him as our Savior, Lord, and Perfecter, He will incorporate us into His family tree as His offspring.

Being "children of God" means that we are not only allowed by God to grow and mature, but we are also made heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.

God transforms us to be worthy of it. In the meantime, even though we live in the world, we are distinguished from the world by God and protected from Satan's cunning trap.

Many things happen before our eyes, but Paul tells us to "lean on the Lord and be strengthened by His great power.

Paul also tells us to "put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of Satan.

The "armor of God" is to put Jesus Christ before us, to believe in Him fully and to surrender everything to Him.

God works in this and manifests great power.

Our God loves us as His children to the end, to eternity, and He is the best One who completes us as His children.
