Isaiah 26:4 "Trust in the LORD everywhere, for he is the rock of all time."
How much do we trust in the Lord?
What does it mean to trust?
We are easily swayed by our emotions, thinking that we cannot trust the Lord if he does not answer our prayers, or that God has abandoned us when hardship comes.
Our God pours out His love to us, which is exactly the same as His first love, like a rock, even when our hearts are shaken and broken, and even when we are obediently following Him.
We receive such love from God, but we only look at the events that are placed in front of us and decide for ourselves whether they are good or bad, changing our level of trust in God.
Trust is not about how much God deserves to be trusted, but how much we can trust Him, and we will be told that we do not have the strength to trust Him completely.
It is only when we are able to accept this about ourselves that we will want to rely on God with all our heart, to trust Him, and to seek Him because He is indispensable to us.
God's trust is perfect.
Our ability to trust God is imperfect.
But God is working without rest and without giving up to make our imperfection perfect.
