Luke 14:23 "Go out into the streets and lanes and compel people to come and fill this house."

At last, the master's invitation extended not only to Israel, but also to complete strangers.

In other words, Gentiles.

People who had never thought about the God of Israel and had nothing to do with him.

But they are brought into the house by force.

Being forced to be brought into the house means that they are given the opportunity to know God.

The association of the Gentiles with the God of Israel was not compatible.

But God's bounty is so great that He even went to the extent of doing such unnatural things.

Our God does not practise favouritism, discrimination, or distinction.

He looked at us, the Gentiles, from the very beginning and gave us the opportunity to know Him at the best time.

We have come to know God and have chosen Him of our own will, not by force.

God will make sure that the rest is in order.

Let us respond to God's invitation with joy and trust in the God we believe in, even if we don't understand what it is.
