Genesis 32:26-27 "Let me go away now. 'For the night is breaking,' said the man, to which Jacob replied. 'No, I will not let go until you bless me.'
Are we clinging to God and the Holy Spirit to such an extent as Jacob?
God does not give up on saving us, nor does He do nothing until we come to Him.
He pursues us and is constantly knocking at the door of our hearts.
We are so selfish that we sometimes feel that we are being too loud or meddlesome.
But the more we know who God is to us and what He has done for us, the more we accept Him as our only God and become dependent on Him.
Our God is the One who can do anything, and even when we make selfish requests, He responds to our cries and makes us realize that we are selfish or self-serving.
And He is the One who meets our needs in ways we never thought possible.
So let us boldly pray to God, "I will not let go until you bless me"!
