Gospel Reflections #648: We are weak, but God is strong and perfect.

Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

We are shaken by anxiety and fear when we look only at the events of this world without looking to God, who is always with us.

But God walks with us as in His word, and He will never give up on us or forsake us. He works beside us to give us this security and hope.

We are led to choose to believe in an invisible God.

Faith is a heart that believes and is a gift from God.

When we want to believe in God but our anxiety grows, we want to pray to God to help us choose Him, confirming who our God is.

God will not give up or forsake that prayer.

We are weak, but God is strong and perfect.

Let us ask God to cover us completely.
