Matthew 9:35 "Jesus went about every town and village, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every kind of sickness and disease."
Our Jesus is not someone who does nothing until we come to him.
He notices the cries of our hearts and comes to us, engages with us, forgives us, has compassion on us, heals us, gives us hope and joy.
Jesus' work begins in our hearts, for it is as a result of his work in our hearts that we are healed of our illnesses and afflictions.
The gospel that Jesus preached brings us hope, joy and confidence.
We don't look for visible goodness or miracles, but a repeated experience of what our relationship with God is like, so that we can deepen our trust in Him.
Jesus is working in us to bring us into a more intimate relationship with Him.
Whether we receive it or not depends on how aware we are of Jesus' work.
Jesus is always showing us His extraordinary work in our mundane everyday life!
