Isaiah 53:5 "By the chastisement he (Christ) received, peace is given to us; by the wounds he (Christ) received, we are healed."
Christ was faithful to our plan of salvation from the beginning to the end.
The iniquity of all of us was laid on Christ as a substitute and guarantor for mankind.
This is not only for those who believe in Christ, but also for all those who do not believe in Christ and regard Him as their enemy.
Christ bore our iniquities when we were not even concerned about sin or about Christ.
We are now able to live normally because of the wounds Christ received.
And we will certainly be given the opportunity by God to know that Christ has healed us.
If we then know Christ, believe in Him, and want to follow Him, God will give us new life and raise us up through Christ.
The realization of how much this is true will surely become clear when we look at the way the world is going to move in the future.
The more we know that we have been poured out with love and grace that we do not deserve, the more we want to look up to Christ, who gave his life for us.
It will fill our hearts with 'thank you' rather than our 'sorry' hearts towards Christ.
