Isaiah 59:19 "The Lord comes like a fiery stream, and the Spirit of the Lord blows upon it."
God is earnestly appealing to us to renounce sin.
We are under the illusion that we are doing everything ourselves and are unaware of God's work.
The Holy Angels are waiting to drive back Satan's armies, but they cannot move boldly without our choice, as they realise that it is against God's rules to do everything against our will.
And it is only when we become aware of Satan's temptations, deceptions and attacks that we realise our own powerlessness.
And when we ask God for help and surrender ourselves to Him, our Saviour hears our cries and sends angelic reinforcements of superior strength to save us.
We may be weak, we may be about to fall, but when we offer our prayers as a cry to God, Satan's army will tremble.
God surely hears our cries and works like a violent stream.
It does not push us away, but it pushes Satan away and lifts us out of the current of chaos.
Our God has already triumphed over the world!
