1 Peter 5:7 "Leave your cares to God for everything. For God is mindful of you."
God says: "Come to me. Come to me and I will give you rest".
Do we leave everything to God?
Have we ever thought somewhere in our hearts that "God won't listen immediately", "He won't listen to this", "He won't listen to someone like me"?
Then we turn to our own strength and to what is available to us in this world.
Why do we think this way?
Because this is the effect of sin.
When we are under the influence of sin, God does not give up, does not mourn, but speaks to us.
'Come to me. I will give you rest."
God did not create us to prove our worth.
We are only made to receive what God has given us and to live with Him.
Because of sin, we are under the illusion that we must be independent of God and stand alone, but God is not concerned with our degree of independence or the results of our efforts, but only whether we run to Him immediately when something happens.
But it depends on how well each of us knows and interacts with God.
God is working in us every day to help us know more about Himself.
Stop and feel it.
You will see clearly what kind of person God is.
