Gospel #706: Through God's Righteousness

1 Corinthians 1:30 "By God you have been united to Christ-Jesus, and this Christ has become for us the wisdom of God, righteousness, holiness, and redemption."

We need to encourage a simple faith that accepts the Word of God as it is.

We should have a faith that is more dependent on the power of God.

Only God can teach us that Christ's righteousness comes to us as a free gift from God without any merit on our part.

Satan does not want this truth clearly presented to us.

Satan does not want this truth clearly presented to us because he knows that when we fully accept it, his power will be crushed.

Therefore, Satan tries to envelop us in spiritual darkness, such as doubt and unbelief.

The key to our spiritual warfare is not to resist Satan, but to be united with Jesus.

We continue to choose Jesus so that He can be in us and lead us to remain in Him.

His righteousness enables us to be His light in a world under Satan's influence.

And as long as we do not let go of his light, he will guide us.
